Exercise your imagination by creating original works with clay! Basic handbuilding methods will be taught, along with an introduction to throwing clay on the pottery wheel. Learn how to glaze your own pieces in class.

No prerequisite for beginners. Advanced students must have had Basic Handbuilding or equivalent.

Designed for students who are brand new to pottery or those who are more advanced and want to continue skill building - with help available from the instructor. Opportunities for handbuilding and wheelthrowing provided. Learn about glazes and glaze your own pieces.

The hardest part of starting an art journal is figuring out how to dive in. Use a variety of water-based media to practice techniques on drawing faces; incorporating color; playing with lettering, doodles, and collage. Experiences are intended to get you comfortable with keeping an art journal.
